Official Visa
Official visit visa is issued to employees of diplomatic representations and consulates of foreign countries in the Republic of Azerbaijan, including employees, administrative and technical staff of the representations of international organizations and their family members, as well as foreigners who travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan with diplomatic mission or with a special mission in the cases set forth by the international agreements that the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party to.

- Passport must be valid passport be valid at least three months beyond the dates of your trip.
- Non-Canadian citizens must submit a valid permanent resident card (PR).
3. Two passport sized photos.
- Photos must be taken within the last 6 months to reflect the current appearance.
- Colored photos must be full face and white background.
4. Diplomatic note or an official letter.
- Must include employee's name, date of birth, purpose of travel, travel date and the anticipated length of the tour of duty or stay in Azerbaijan.
- The names and dates of birth of any dependents and other members of household who will be accompanying or joining the government official or employee.

Science or Education Visa
Science or education visa is issued to foreigners entering the Republic of Azerbaijan to carry out scientific activity, to attend relevant conferences, seminars and other scientific events, to get education by enrolling in educational institutions or to get retrained on the basis of application of government authorities acting in this sphere, scientific research institutions, educational institutions registered by the state.

Medical Visa
Medical treatment visa is issued to foreigners arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan for medical examination and treatment in the Republic of Azerbaijan upon the application of medical institutions in the Republic of Azerbaijan acting as a receiving party.

Private Visit Visa
Private visit visa is issued to foreigners entering the Republic of Azerbaijan upon invitation of a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a foreigner permanently residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan, a labor migrant holding a temporary residence permit or a foreignerwho gets education (only for the family members of labor migrant or the foreigner and stateless person who gets education), registered by the relevant executive authority.

Employment Visa
Employment visa is issued to foreigners who intend to carry out paid labor activity in the Republic of Azerbaijan and for this purpose arriving upon the application submitted by employer-government authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan, juridical persons acting in the Republic of Azerbaijan or physical persons engaging in entrepreneurship activity without establishing a juridical person, as well as branches and representations of foreign juridical persons.
